Today’s recipe is Barbecue Tofu and it is a tasty one. This Tofu is well seasoned and soaked and you will have a flavor like you have never tasted in Tofu before once you follow the directions correctly. Check out the recipe below.
Preparation time: 10m
- 1/2 pound(s) Tofu
- 1 medium onion, chopped
- 1 clove(s) garlic, chopped
- 1/2 teaspoon(s) salt
- 1/2 teaspoon(s) black pepper
- 1 cup(s) flour
- 1/4 teaspoon(s) salt
- 1/2 teaspoon(s) paprika
- 1/4 cup(s) Vegetable Oil
- To Make Barbecue Sauce:
- 1 tablespoon(s) Vegetable Oil
- 1 tablespoon(s) onion, chopped
- 1 tablespoon(s) sweet pepper, chopped
- 1/2 cup(s) Tomato Ketchup
- 1/4 cup(s) Fish and Meat Sauce
- 1/4 cup(s) honey
Barbecue Tofu Directions
Slice tofu in four pieces and season with onion, garlic, salt and black pepper.
Combine flour, salt and paprika to make seasoned flour.
Dip slices of tofu in seasoned flour and coat well.
Heat Vegetable Oil and fry the floured tofu for two minutes on both sides, then drain on paper towel.
Pour sauce over fried tofu and place in a pre-heated oven at (180°C) 350°F for 10 minutes.
To Make Barbecue Sauce:
Heat Vegetable Oil, saute onion and sweet pepper.
Add Tomato Ketchup, Fish and Meat Sauce and honey, mix well.
